The particular model used in WW1:Source is the SMLE (Short Magazine Lee Enfield) Mark lll. With a magazine size of 10 rounds, the Enfield is certainly the easiest rifle to use for beginners, allowing for continued fire on a target, giving room for error. However, the iron sights are less accurate than that of the Central Powers G98. It also has a slower reload than the G98, seeing as you need to reload two clips of 10 rounds, and not just one clip of 5.

It also has a slower reload than the G98, seeing as you need to reload two clips of 10 rounds, and not just one clip of 5.

For beginners

To hit your target, it is recommended to place it just a tad above the middle of the ironsight-pin at the front of the gun.
